I've been working on a huge Easter post all week and I'm still far from being done. So, here's the short version with fewer pictures:
Easter was great this year. We spent Saturday morning with my family eating brunch at Royal Oaks and enjoying their big Easter party for the kids. There was a petting zoo, egg hunt, Easter bunny, a DJ, cookie decorating and lots of yummy food. Saturday evening we ate at my in-laws house and enjoyed yet another fun egg hunt and more yummy food. Easter Sunday was just the three (err, well, four I guess) of us. We went to church, lunch and a had the third and final egg hunt in our front yard. The Easter bunny was good to Dean this year and brought him a giant chocolate bunny, a book about being a big brother, the Bambi movie, eggs full of mini M&M's, Fruit Loops, Hot Wheels, Play Doh and some Moon Sand. We had a very blessed Easter and we're so lucky that all of our family lives close so we can see them on holidays like this!
Here he is checking out the baby chicks and ducks. I love this picture because it's equal parts precious and completely naughty. I love his face.
Rare family photo.
His first Easter egg hunt! He did fantastic and found LOTS of eggs. He had plenty of family cheering him on!
Oh my! Dean is getting so big! He looks like a little boy, not a baby or even a toddler! He is so cute.
